Message From the Councilman:

January is reorganization of Borough Council month. We have a group that is willing to roll up their sleeves, and get the work done.  We are all very concerned about the problems facing our community.  It is time for everyone to put their differences aside and work for the betterment of Pitcairn.  We would like to see everyone get involved!  All you have to do is stop by the Borough Building, and leave the following information: name, address and phone number.

This spring, we will be having a Spring Clean-Up Day.  As we get closer, look for more details.  In the meantime, as the weather starts to improve, we are asking everyone to keep up on the day-to-day maintenance of their own property.  Every little bit makes a big difference!

We plan to work closely with the Allegheny County Housing Authority to keep housing laws enforced.  The safety of our citizens is very important to us all, so we will be looking into ways to improve this.  We will also be focusing on fiscal responsibility.  Other areas of concern are the Dirty Camp Run Creek project, streets and alleys, the ordinance book, ball field bathrooms and the negotiation of contracts.
