In addition to providing multiple parks, playing fields and courts, Pitcairn Borough Council Park and Recreation Committee sponsors events throughout the year.  These have included free movie nights, yearly events such as Easter Egg Hunt with family activities, community celebration in Summer and Harvest Festival with a Halloween Parade to the Park Building where children receive prizes and candy from the organizations in town. Old Fashioned Christmas includes Santa arriving on the fire truck and a day filled with activities including hayrides and a bonfire with refreshments. The Christmas tree is lit by our King & Queen who are chosen from Pitcairn children. We appreciate the many volunteers, Pitcairn businesses, community organizations and individual donors who make these fun events possible!
